Feature checklists are the wrong way to choose an accounting system. Nearly every product on the market can raise an invoice. The differences that matter show up months after you have committed.
Ask whether the system handles multi-currency properly when you buy in dollars and sell in shillings. Ask whether it produces output in the formats URA expects, or whether someone on your team will be rekeying figures every quarter. Ask what happens when the internet drops for an afternoon.
Then ask the question that decides it: when something goes wrong at month end, who picks up the phone, and are they in your time zone. A cheaper licence with support fourteen hours away is not cheaper.
We built Vandlet ERP because our own clients kept hitting these walls. Whatever you choose, choose on the answers to those four questions rather than the feature grid.
